ALICE DUNCAN
PHOTOGRAPHER
ABOUT
Beauty in the destroyed is a series within my work which explores how combining water and fire with flowers creates an aesthetically pleasing situation. Different techniques have allowed me to produce either peaceful and tranquil images or distressing ones producing an un-nerving atmosphere. This has been expressed through photography but I have also
integrated this idea with sound and moving image. Working with flowers is a large part of my practice and within my portfolio you will be able to see some examples of this. Within my gallery you will find some more technically acclaimed images which are not part of my fine art practice but go on to show more of my ability.
